The Capital Cost (CCS) module
provides advanced tools to analyze, forecast trend and report project
cost. This module is specially designed for projects with multi-funding,
large number of packages and multiple currencies.
The CCS module provides on-line status regarding Budget, Budget Changes,
Estimate to Complete (ETC), Estimate at completion Cost (EAC), Committed
Cost, Invoiced, Accrued or Paid Cost. This information is available and
sorted by WBS/Facility and by package.
This module tracks vendor invoices and payments including taxes and retention.
It provides the payment status of all Purchase Orders and Contracts.
The CCS produces cash flow in tabular or graphic format. Cash flow span
can be shown by Day, Week, Month, Quarter or Year. Cash flow forecasts
can be produced using the CPM dates and distribution curves. Cash flow
for incurred cost can be produced using invoice date or pay date.
The CCS also includes scope change tracking.
The CCS is designed to make maximum use of data from other modules in
order to minimize manual data re-entry. Cost reports can be produced practically
without any manual data entry using data from the estimating and Contract
Management module.
CCS comes with a large number of reports used in hundreds of projects
worldwide. This includes performance reports used for DOE/DOD/DOT Jobs
(USA), IDB (Inter-American Development Bank) standard reports, plus all
the various Cost Comparison Reports used for Private projects. When used
in conjunction with the CMS, the quantity of accounts required to control
a project is significantly reduced.
All data contained in the CMS can be summarized by WBS/Facility and by
package. This concept provides accurate on-line cost information.
