The Equipment Management Module
(EQM) provides a comprehensive method of tracking process equipment and
instrumentation from planning thought engineering, procurement, delivery,
installation to start-up and commissioning. EQM also provides a consolidated
equipment and instrument list that can be used for requisitioning, purchasing,
installation, maintenance, assets control and depreciation.
The EQM is linked to the EMS (Engineering Management module) allowing
to produce directly datasheet as well as requisitions always synchronized
with the current document list. EQM can also produce purchase Orders or
Contracts for installation of Equipment.
EQM allows grouping of Equipment and Instruments by “Process Systems”.
This concept is used as a planning tool and permit to identify early what
equipment and instruments are required to startup and operate each individual
process system.
EQM works seamlessly with other JMS© modules: the Estimating module
(EST), the Engineering Management module (EMS), the Schedule Interface
module (SCH) and the Procurement Management module (PXS).
